Step 1：Connect the Launch X431 Pro Elite to your vehicle
Ensure the device is properly connected to the vehicle, either via the OBDII port or using Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity, depending on vehicle and device compatibility.
Step 2: Launching the Launch X431 Pro Elite Diagnostic Software
Within the diagnostic software interface, locate the Local Diagnose. Go ahead and get into the Diagnostic module. We are going to select the 16 PIN because it is a US model. Finally confirm the vehicle information and click "ok".
Step 4: Check if your original key can be used with Launch X431 Pro Elite
We're going to do a whole scan so a quick way to know if your chip is programmed or not. We have the light flashing right here that's the security light. We're going to do a Health report and do a system scan.
Step 5: Select the immobilizer system and Transponder Code Regisraiton.
And then follow the belows to register a key：
● Remove key from the key cylinderInsert key back into the key cylinderTurn IGN onpress OK within 120s
● Remove the master key from the cylinder within 20s, press OK
● Insert the key you want to Program within 19 s, then press OK Do not turn the ignition switch ON.
We see the light continues to flash it's registering the key.
We just wait until that light goes away mean that the key is already registered into the system.
Register key completed. It takes about 20s to register the key.
The tool will automatically tell us when the key is done registering.
Step 6: Then we are going to register the key fob.Go back and enter BCM system.
We're going to open the switch with the original key right.
Go to Special function. Select Wireless code registration so use this function to register a new key fob.
Step 7: We are going to press ignition on Driver door. Open and unlocked.
The remaining number of remotes we register are four and currently we have two keys register so we're going to press okay.
We're going to press the lock and unlock button at the same time for about 1 second then we're going to press the unlock button quick.
There we go it's already registered so press okay we cancel going to tum off the ignition.
Step 8: Now we're going to test the remote. And then we get a new key.
